Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Muckerman has a special interest in personalized obstetric and gynecologic care utilizing the most current genetic testing available for women in order to prevent problems during their pregnancies as well as in their post-reproductive years.
Dr. Muckerman graduated with an M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1977 and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Genecology at Mercy Hospital Saint Louis in 1981.

Dr. Catherine Hohn graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1996 and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Mercy Hospital Saint Louis (formerly St. John’s Mercy Medical Center) in 1999.
Dr. Ahlering specializes in general Gynecology with a focus on infertility, recurrent miscarriage, and bio identical hormone replacement therapy.
Dr. Ahlering and his team of infertility specialist staff have developed into one of the most successful and attentive fertility clinics in the Midwest with a special emphasis on recurrent miscarriage.
His other area of focus is bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. He has been the leader in introducing pellet therapy into the St. Louis market but also prescribes various forms of transdermal and vaginal therapy.
Elizabeth Blanzy is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who partners closely with Dr. Catherine Hohn. She completed both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis with honors. After six years of acute health care experience as a staff nurse, she became motivated to focus on preventive, whole body wellness. She joined the practice “St. Louis Institute for Functional Medicine” as an advanced practice nurse in September 2019. Serving the practice is both rewarding, fulfilling, and perfectly aligns with her values. She is currently completing studies at the Institute for Functional Medicine. She is dedicated and passionate about helping patients achieve mind, body, and spirt well-being.
Kym Renkoski, WHNP-BC joined St. Louis Women’s Health Care Group in 2000. Prior to joining our practice, she worked at Mercy Medical Center obtaining medical, surgical and labor & delivery experience. Kym has 30+ years’ experience in treatment of adolescence, midlife health, infertility evaluation, pregnancy, well women exams, menopause and hormone replacement therapy. She is also a trained in handling the patient who has suffered sexual assault. Her menopause practice focuses on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy as well as all hormone replacement therapies. She is our Dysport Specialist and is trained to administer Botox for Chronic Migraines. Kym is certified on our ThermiVA (vaginal rejuvenation) and ThermiSmooth Body devices and is a clinician for our Epionce skin care line. Kym enjoys her free time with her family and time at the lake.
Melissa joined St. Louis Women’s Healthcare Group in July of 2019. Prior to joining our practice, she worked primarily in public health clinics associated with Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Melissa has spent her entire nursing career specializing in the care of women and infants. Since becoming a women’s health nurse practitioner in 2011 she has acquired a special interest in working with adolescents, contraception, pregnancy, and postpartum mood disorders. However, she welcomes patients throughout the reproductive life span and enjoys the relationships she gets to develop with those she cares for. She is a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community and strongly supports the right of all patients to receive safe reproductive health care in a non-judgmental environment.
I have been a practicing registered nurse since 1986. I have been working in Women’s Health ever since! It brings me such satisfaction to be able to assist women of all ages and issues. The ability to help others is a great challenge. Which I strive to beat every day!
Shay is a Registered Medical Assistant and Certified Holistic Health Coach with over 15 years of Medical & Total Body Aesthetics experience, with Special training In Integrative Nutrition & Functional Medicine. Shay aspires to educate others and show them that having a healthy lifestyle can be easily attainable, convenient and affordable. Shay believes in a holistic approach to wellness and thrives on finding natural ways to take care of our Body, Mind and Soul. Her ultimate purpose is to serve others which is why she is thrilled to be sharing her knowledge about all aspects of Holistic Health care and wellness with like-minded individuals at St. Louis Institute for Functional Medicine.
Danielle joined St Louis Women’s Healthcare Group in October 2015. Prior to joining our practice, she worked in family practice and pediatrics. Danielle has been a registered Medical Assistant since 2008. Danielle graduated Montgomery County RII in 2006, from there she went to Sanford-Brown college and graduated in 2008 with her Registered Medical Assistant Degree. After graduating Danielle completed her externship at a Family Practice office in Montgomery City MO. While attending East Central College, Danielle worked as lead Medical Assistant for BJC Family Practice and Pediatrics.
With a passion for caring for people’s needs, Marybeth Dunn has worked in the healthcare and hospitality fields since High School. Since 2001 she has spent her career in women’s healthcare. She is passionate about growing St. Louis Women’s Healthcare Group as an independent practice to offer cutting edge care to patients. A perpetual learner, she is always researching new technologies and services that can be offered by our practice.
