If FemmeMD patients are physically unable to pick up their prescription medications from their local pharmacy, the FemmeMD Care Team will arrange for pick up and home delivery of member prescription medications.
The FemmeMD Care Team has established relationships with reputable travel healthcare insurance providers. The FemmeMD Care Team can help guide patients through the travel healthcare insurance purchasing process prior to traveling and, if necessary, help members collect benefits if services are used.
In the event a FemmeMD member sustains a medical issue while traveling outside the St. Louis area, The FemmeMD Care Team will conduct a virtual health assessment to advise an appropriate care setting for the member to seek care. The FemmeMD Care Team will help coordinate member care with healthcare providers that members seek emergency care from while traveling.
In the event a FemmeMD member sustains a life-threatening medical issue, FemmeMD personnel offer travel logistics coordination services to pre-identified out-of-town family members and friends.
In the event a visiting family member of a FemmeMD patient becomes ill while in St. Louis, the FemmeMD Care Team will conduct a health assessment visit on a same- or next-day basis, depending on availability.
